One of the main differences between a phobia and anxiety is that a phobia is usually preceded by an initial stimulating event, most often in childhood, whether you remember it or not.
Hypnosis has proven to be very effective at providing relief for both.

An unreasonable, abnormal, and lasting fear of something (Merriam-Webster). Put another way, it’s a fear that doesn’t fit the situation. Being afraid of a black widow spider makes sense, because that spider is dangerous. Being terrified of every spider, including harmless ones, is a phobia (based on Vocabulary.com).
Hypnosis is known to be very effective at eliminating most phobias, usually in just one session. Booking a single 2-hour session can eliminate a fear that has troubled you for years and may have even prevented you from doing things you’ve always wanted to do.

Fear or nervousness about what might happen (Merriam-Webster). Put another way, it’s the uneasy feeling you get when you dread something (Vocabulary.com). Feeling a little nervous before a dental visit or a blood draw is normal. When the worry starts days ahead, keeps you up at night, or makes you cancel the appointment, it’s anxiety that is getting in your way.
Hypnosis can help calm the worry so that dental visits, needles, and other situations that make you anxious become easier to face. Booking one 2-hour session can help you feel calmer and more in control, so anxiety no longer decides what you can and can’t do.
All new client sessions are preceded by a 20-minute, free Discovery Call. During the call, you can ask me questions about what to expect in a session, and I can share more information.
All discovery calls and most hypnosis sessions are conducted over Zoom from the comfort of your own home.
